Bike to Close the Gap 2015
Bike to Close The Gap is slowly but surely becoming a cycling classic. In 2015, DNS Belgium and Close the Gap will again be joining forces to work with you and your fellow cyclists to help narrow the digital gap.
As a genuine ‘Flandrien’ contender, are you ready to defy the challenges of the famous Paterberg hill to give people who would otherwise miss the digital train a helping hand so that they can discover the benefits of ICT?
If you are, then make a note of 18 June 2015 in your diary – because that’s when the next Bike to Close the Gap event will be held.
The previous edition of the event was a runaway success, raising a record 85,000 euro. And next year we plan to do even better. And for that to be possible, we are counting on you! The purpose of Bike to Close The Gap is to complete as many laps of the course as possible and have yourself sponsored by your employer. Find out about all of the sponsorship packages and ride with your company to help close the digital divide! Not owning a bike is no excuse, either, because you can borrow a racing bicycle or mountainbike at the event.
And the winners are…
Bike to Close the Gap is a sporting event, but it’s not a race as such. We don’t ride against each other, but with one another to achieve a common goal. The real winners of Bike to Close the Gap are PC Solidarity and the disadvantaged families who will be able to discover the wonderful world of ICT thanks to our combined efforts.
We always round off this great event with a barbecue. It’s the ideal way to digest the kilometres ridden and network in a relaxed atmosphere with employees from DNS Belgium, registrars and IT companies.
