By now, Bike to Close the Gap can rightfully be called a cycling classic. In 2016 DNS Belgium, Proximus & Close the Gap join forces to make sure the digital gap is narrowed, together with you.
Are you ready to conquer the infamous Paterberg like a true ‘Flandrien’, while helping people who risk missing the digital train, so they too can discover the advantages of ICT?
Mark June 30th 2016 in your agenda, cause that’s when the next edition of Bike to Close the Gap will take place.
The last edition was a success with a record profit of 85.000 euros. This time, we’re aiming even higher. And for that, we’re counting on you! The aim is to bike as many rounds as possible.
The money for charity is predominantly raised by sponsoring by the employer of the participants.

And the winners are…
While Bike to Close the Gap is a sports event, it’s definitely not a competition. We’re not cycling against each other, but with each other, for a common goal. The only winners are Close the Gap and low-opportunity families in the third and fourth world, who thanks to our efforts get a chance to discover the wondrous world of ICT.
This year, we have a very special godfather supporting the event: Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Development and Digital Agenda Alexander De Croo. Not only will he be present on the Paterberg on June 30th 2016, he will also participate and distribute the awards in the late afternoon.

The event will be followed by a barbecue. It’s the best way to digest the cycled kilometres and to network with the people from DNS Belgium, Proximus and other (IT or not) companies.
